Converted from a row of 17th century weavers' cottages, the Four Poster Bed & Breakfast has great charm and character. Many original features have been retained including low ceilings with exposed beams.
Centrally heated and double-glazed throughout, we have three double rooms (all en-suite), and an annex room. The annex room has twin beds on the ground floor and a separate twin bedded room on the upper floor (with en-suite shower room). Rooms are fully equipped with colour TV, hair dryer, and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Children over 10 are welcome. Pets are accepted in some rooms by prior arrangement. The Bed & Breakfast is non-smoking throughout.
Prices include a full cooked breakfast. Packed lunches can be provided (by prior arrangement). We also serve afternoon tea and home made cakes in the dining room (by prior arrangement). Special packages of flowers, chocolates and champagne are available. Please enquire when booking.
There is off-road parking and we have storage for bikes and canoes, and drying facilities for walking kit.
Guests may check in between 1400hrs and 2030hrs on the day of arrival and are asked to vacate rooms by 1100hrs on the day of departure.
